About this artwork
My new composition follows the line previously opened by her by building her work on the basis of everyday objects and elements and by offering them a renovated framework, a new visibility in order to create, in a way, a "mythology of the banal". I have chosen here an international and humorous food that stimulates gluttony and encourages sharing. My donuts are particularly representative of food consumption in the 21st century by associating pleasure and satiety and, in this way, remaining loaded with affective meanings and perceptions of identity. For art lovers, without the extra pounds! 4 BIG ones & little ones around.
